Our brief, from NHS England, Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire Strategic Clinical Networks, was to address the low uptake nationally of Improved Access to Psychological Therapies mental health services by Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities.

Applying the principles of ZW Narrative Resilience Technology, we developed animated characters and dialogue that covered a wide range of stakeholders (community leaders, community members, mental health service users, and clinical psychologists) whilst simultaneously identifying a common voice that crossed cultural barriers and spoke simply, without being patronising or alienating.
