Narrative specialist Ravi Thornton founded Ziggy’s Wish (2014), later joined by games technologist Jordi Sola.

Ravi is a multi-award-winning writer from Manchester. She is keenly interested in narrative psychology and narrative innovation for socio-economic benefit, and is involved in extensive exploration of storytelling across multiple platforms.

Awards and nominations include Comica Top Ten British Graphic Novels, Lottery Good Causes Award, HSJ Awards, Medicine Unboxed Creative Prize, Barry Reckord Bursary Award, Broken Frontier Award, Best Debut Book, Bram Stoker Award, Observer Graphic Short Story Prize, Comics in Education Graphic Novel of the Year, British Comic Awards Best Book.

Ravi leads on a number of large scale, intersectional narrative engagement projects, including the award-winning mental health, technology and arts project HOAX. An active advocate of polyphonic collaboration, Ravi sits on University of Nottingham’s Research Priority Area Management Board for Language, Texts and Society; as well as University of Manchester SENSE-Cog’s Scientific Advisory Board and Innovation Board.

Jordi Sola

Chief Technology Officer

As well as being our CTO, Jordi is also Co-founder and CEO of Cubus Games in Barcelona, responsible for  a number of diverse digital titles including the Pocket Gamer award-winners Heavy Metal Thunder, Sol Invictus, The Frankenstein Wars, Necklace of Skulls and Deadman Diaries.


Jordi is interested in technical development innovations around user-decision-led narrative across large storyworlds; with a focus on mainstream player expectations versus accessibility for non-mainstream and under-represented gaming audiences. He is passionate about community and, following Cubus’ first-prize win at the inaugural Agbar Museum’s HackatH2On on digital engagement in the museum and cultural sector, advises Barcelona Diputation, Mallorca Council and multiple Cultural Heritage management entities around historical/public adaptation projects across Spain.
