Let’s Talk About Death

Nature Doesn’t Die seeks to create open, natural and permissive spaces in which grief and taboos around death can be safely and sensitively explored. This is a long-term project based in rural Aberdeenshire, connecting with a number of community partners and Scottish Government policies around health and the environment.

The project comprises the establishing of woodland and woodland huts as off-grid meeting spaces, plus the co-development of personal-story workshops around hard-to-voice topics such as terminal illness, suicide, assisted dying, natural death, burial and beyond.
